Mr. John B. Slate , Aviation Teacher

Mr Slate graduated form Embry Riddle Aeronautical University with a degree in Professional Aeronautics and a double minor in Aerospace Aviation Safety and Business. He holds a FAA Commercial Pilot License. Advance Instrument Ground Instructor and is an FAA appointed Aviation Safety Counselor.

Previous work experence included aerial news pilot and camerman for Fox News (SkyFox 30), Sky47 for CBS 47 News and CNN. His work often appeared on all three national networks.

He is an Adjunct Aviation Instructor at Florida Community College.

Mr Slate started flying in 1967 in Venice Florida.

Mr. Slate received Career Technology Teacher of the year on August 5, 2008
